Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
The AP Exams are a critical part of the Advanced Placement experience, providing students with the opportunity to earn college credit and advanced placement. Many colleges and universities recognize AP in the admission process. For more information, visit the CollegeBoard AP Page.
Self-Study Opportunity
Highly motivated students at MTHS can participate in AP Self-Study to take exams for courses they are not currently enrolled in. Click here for more information.
Exam Cost and Registration
Cost: $99 + $5.95 service fee per exam, $147 + $8.35 processing fee for AP Seminar and AP Research exams.
Deadline: Payment begins September 17, 2024, and ends October 18, 2024.
Students taking Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be required to pay for their respective test(s). Any student on free/reduced lunch should contact Mrs. Buffolino before submitting payment.
Payments can be made online using GOFAN, a quick and easy way to pay. Follow these steps to complete payment:
- Go to this link.
- Click “Buy Tickets” for the appropriate course.
- Click “Add to Cart.”
- At checkout, enter your child’s information under “Additional Information.”
- Complete the purchase.
Note: Students must pay for and be registered in AP Classroom to ensure an exam is ordered on their behalf.
2025 AP Exam Dates
Exams will be administered May 5 through May 16, 2025. Early or late testing is not permitted.
