ASVAB Testing
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery
What is the ASVAB?
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a timed, multi-aptitude test used to determine eligibility for enlistment in the military. It also helps assign recruits to appropriate military jobs based on their abilities.
The ASVAB measures aptitudes in four main areas:
- Verbal
- Math
- Science and Technical
- Spatial
Upcoming ASVAB Testing at MTHS
Monroe Township High School will serve as an ASVAB Test Center on December 3rd.
Other Testing Locations
If you are unable to take the ASVAB at MTHS, military recruiters can assist in scheduling your test. The ASVAB is offered at:
- Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS)
- Satellite test sites known as MET (Mobile Examination Test) sites
